Frequently asked questions

Where does the Toronto to Niagara Falls day tour leave from?

It leaves from downtown Toronto at 8:30 am. We confirm your exact pickup point when we confirm your booking.

How long is the tour?

The schedule runs from the 8:30 am pickup to a drop-off at about 5:30 pm, traffic permitting, which is about 9 hours.

How much time do we get at the falls?

About 2.5 hours in the schedule (11:30 am to 2:00 pm), starting with about an hour at Table Rock and then free time at Clifton Hill for lunch, exploring or an add-on.

Is lunch included?

Lunch is not part of the itinerary, so plan to eat during your free time at the falls. The maple syrup tasting at Maple Leaf Place is a tasting, not a meal. Ask us if you need anything confirmed.

Do I need a passport?

The tour stays in Canada, so it involves no border crossing. If you plan to visit the US side on your own, you need the documents for that crossing.

What can I add?

Niagara City Cruises boat ride (+C$47.95 adult, about 1 hour), Journey Behind the Falls (+C$33.00, about 1 hour), Niagara Takes Flight (+C$33.00, about 45 minutes; riders must be at least 100 cm and under 300 lb), and an ice wine tasting upgrade (C$17). We recommend a maximum of two add-ons.

Does the boat add-on run in winter?

The cruise add-on is seasonal, and we confirm whether it is running for your date. Maid of the Mist's 2026 season closes on November 8.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the tour. If you added the boat ride, ask us how it is covered, because the cruise operator's own ticket rules are stricter.

Can I take the tour with a wheelchair or stroller?

Tell us in your booking request. We will confirm what is possible for your group before you pay; a private tour may suit some needs better.
